All About Aubrey

Flat Aubrey was not always a “flat” doll. Once, she had been a normal child that fit in with everyone else, and almost everyone liked her. Aubrey was a popular girl in school because of her traits of friendliness and optimism. She was one of the smartest in her class and curiosity never slowed down. Flat Aubrey wanted to be a historian when she grew up. She had told her parents of her dream and they encouraged her to strive to achieve it. Aubrey’s life was a piece of cake until one day she was ran over. Yes, Aubrey and her family were going to the Birmingham Zoo for “Christmas at the Zoo”, and she forgot her gloves in the house. Her mother told her to quickly run inside and get them. Aubrey did as she was told and jumped out of the car but her father did not know she had gotten out. Aubrey had walked around the rear of the car as her dad started the car in reverse. She had spotted her misplaced earring underneath the bumper of the car, so she knelt down to grab it. Before anyone realized, the car had trampled over her and flattened little Aubrey.
Now, Flat Aubrey was an outgoing and curious doll. Most of her days had consisted of spontaneous trips to popular sites, such as the Birmingham Zoo, Vulcan Park and Museum, The Trail of Tears memorial, and etc. Aubrey loved to learn new things about all sorts of stuff. She had a special interest in the United States history, so she often visited historical sites. To feed her curiosity and need for fun, Flat Aubrey would also go to the zoo and see the animals.
